Welcome to Butch Femme Transguy Personals.
My partner (Liverpoolbutch) and I (Tinsel) set this site up on 14th May 2006 so that butches, femmes, transguys and transgirls would have a place to find friends or partners. We had originally set up the http://www.butch-femme.co.uk messageboard, which is specifically for butches and transguys who love femmes and for femmes who love butches and transguys. However, after a year of running the other site we believe that there is also a need for a space for people who share these identities regardless of their preference in partner.
My partner and I are commited to the needs of butches, femmes and the transgendered community. For this reason, our aim is to strictly adhere to the original intention of this site, which is to keep it butch/femme/trans, rather than make a profit. Currently there are hundreds of personals sites that have been created for the sole purpose of profit making, and have been set up to look succesful through buying databases of hundreds of false profiles. My partner and I, who live butch/femme, are starting this site from scratch with genuine butch, femme and transgendered members, and have done so out of a commitment to them. Please support the butch/femme/trans community by joining up and helping to keep this site B/F/T only.
